Supply and install is providing all of the materials and experienced qualified labour to complete the work from start to finish including commissioning, sign off & issuing the certificate of compliance. We install to the latest Building Control regulations relating to the installation, this may or may not involve any building work. If building work is required and you have your own builder we can accommodate you as you may wish to arrange this yourself for any building works to be completed via the various trades required. Each job is priced on an individual basis per installation as no two jobs are the same.
Contemporary Stoves Supply only service
We provide this service after the free site survey and if this is your preferred method which is different to our Supply and install service a complete list of all the materials is created and required for the job. The cost of materials is obviously dependant on what’s needed to complete the job. This then leaves you free to use someone else to install, however as being members of the Hetas registered installer service and CPS scheme, we would always recommend using a Hetas registered installer or a person registered with a competent persons scheme and has the authority to sign off the installation on behalf of their CPS [competent persons scheme] this is important and we would advise you to check this for yourself & your safety.
It may be necessary to have some building works completed prior to the stove or fire being installed, this can range simply from opening up the catchment area to expose the existing fireplace recess to a full extension with a new chimney stack and flue to even a new build or a complete renovation. We have been involved in managing build projects since 1997 both new builds or total renovations/refurbishments, some taken back to a shell with extensions, either with a chimney stack and flue built or installing a twin wall stainless steel flue to fit to the stove or fire.
We would look at this on an individual basis as most potential customers may have already purchased the stove and necessary materials, we would need to make sure the appliance, hearth, flue and ancillary components/materials to complete the job are CE marked and approved to meet BS EN standards. This will include Commissioning, sign off and issue the certificate of compliance.
